The ceiling of the York Minster, which is actually wood lined. The nave is  the widest in Britain.

(turn sideways) the clock in York Minster. At the quarter hour the figures hit the little tubular bells.
Not as fancy as Wells Cathedral, but rather cute.

The dome. You may be able to see the crossed keys of St Peter.

(turn sideways) this clock was created to commemorate all the people who served in airforces based in the York area during the Second World War. It shows the night sky for the particular day. In the centre are the four winds.
