Aaa the young girls led the way, holding the banner. Next came the women singing, then the Priest, then the men carrying the Madonna.
At one of the other Churches above Vernazza I saw this fascinating statue of Joseph holding Jesus in exactly the same pose that Mary usually does.
Anyone know the background to it?
